Open mics come and go, and we can't keep on top of them all by ourselves.

It's a good idea to call the venue first and make sure it's still open.

Help us out -- Submit a new open mic or tell us about a dead one at changes (AT) openmicvancouver (DOT) com

Don't forget to read the comments at the bottom of the page. Someone may have reported a new or closed open mic there too.

Does anyone know of any open mics in or near Mission, Maple Ridge or Abbotsford that would be suitable for a stand up comedy act?

tricia?28 April 2014, 22:33

Duedney Pub on Thursdays

kos?26 August 2014, 17:26

Corduroy sounds uppity. This is not a place for beginners to hone their craft? Wow. That's a first.

jiffy?27 August 2014, 01:10

Hi kos, I do the updates here at OMV, you're right, that was a bit uppity. What I wanted to relay to new players is that it is a tough room if you've never performed in front of people before (it's often full, very loud and can be quite intimidating). It's not uppity at all, in fact, it's one of my favorite open mics to perform at!

Hello from Jasper Alberta...where we host an open mic night on the first Tuesday every month. Do you know of any other first tuesday open mic nights? We would like to SKYPE and share...we are a small community and could learn from others! We also use our open mic nights for prose, songs, writings... Lets connect!

GuitarHero?11 April 2017, 15:00

Of course Corduroy is uppity, it's in Kits! The problem with Corduroy is that they've changed to a raffle draw to pick your spot. So it doesn't matter if you get there early, depending on the number you draw, you might end up playing last.

Good day! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine Optimization? I'm trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I'm not seeing very good success. If you know of any please share. Thank you! https://goo.gl/maps/RLPFGxUQTms

Sean -"Stairway"?17 July 2017, 03:46

Carnegie community centre Host is now "Ken" As per "Steve Edwards" has passed away and is sorely missed , he was the best guitarist I had the pleasure and privilege to sing in front of . Steve played a guitar like a violinist plays a violin! He was amazing ! We did "Stairway to Heaven" and "Thank You " and "Nights in White Satin" He played everything perfectly and often embellished a song better then the original we covered .

He was a gentleman as well .

I miss you Steve !
