Open mics come and go, and we can't keep on top of them all by ourselves.

It's a good idea to call the venue first and make sure it's still open.

Help us out -- Submit a new open mic or tell us about a dead one at changes (AT) openmicvancouver (DOT) com

Don't forget to read the comments at the bottom of the page. Someone may have reported a new or closed open mic there too.

Don't bother with the Dewdney Clicky and unless you are a drummer the house band does not want you there. Only way is if there is enough jammers that you can replace the house band. Oh yeah, the guitarist is a premadona.

Due to popular demand, the Fringe will now be hosting open mics every second Sunday! The next few dates are Jan 29, Feb12, Feb 26, Mar 12, Mar 26 … etc.

Your hosts are the Eminent Daniel Nargang occasionally accompanied by One Classy Broad, Gillian McLennan (collectively known as “Epiphanic Moments”).

The Fringe has a PA with two mics. Please bring your own instruments!

All kinds of talent welcome. We typically get ‘guys with guitars’, but, would love to see diversity including, but not limited to:

stand-up comedy; spoken word skits; banjos, harps; spoons; inverted paint pails (empty, of course); whistling; lutes; humans with an XX chromosomal make up; washboards; recorders; Fisher Price pianos; a great rendition of the alphabet belched (please bring your own mic); maracas; xylophones; triangles;

Etc …

See you at the Fringe ..
